Fans are the bane of owners and designers of electronic equipment.
I may have been heard recommending Ceramica fans in the past.
They were muffin fans with a ceramic bearing instead of a oiled bronze bush or ball bearings.
The concept was good... long life and low noise, but alas the implementation is poor.
I have replaced three fans that have failed with short life, one less than a year, two less than a month.
The failure was not related to the bearing, the plastic parts cracked.
One to avoid!
