More Broadband on Powerlines

Post by VK2EM »

I was in Aldi the other day, in a hurry, but in their glass 'Security Case' I noticed a package with two mains plug adaptors to enable your broadband I/O via a USB socket on them.

I also just found this interesting article from a German Ham on UTube about a very similar object... and the RFI it produced...

Very interesting indeed!!!

If you find a product such as this and it is found to produce RFI, then I'd recommend getting straight onto the vendor and ACMA and make some noise about it.

I believe ACMA have been active in checking of some products.
