I wonder if anyone can help...
I'm looking for a source of Tx/Rx license free RF modules that would have a range of around 200m, that when the Tx module is operated, a line goes logic High at the Rx module.
The other requirement is each device (Tx and Rx) must all operate on the same frequency, or be able to be set to the same frequency. I would need about 30 or 40 Tx/Rx units, all on the same frequency.
Do such modules exist that meet this broad spec? Any ideas on sources? China?

LIPD Tx/Rx module - suggestions?
Re: LIPD Tx/Rx module - suggestions?
Hi Rob,
Have you considered Zigbee modules? They're widely available.
Your specification is, um, scant on detail, so Zigbee might be overkill.
Google is your friend.

Hi Rob,
Futurlec have some modules including the zigbee units.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Those Futurlec devices look like they might do the trick. I will get hold of a low power Tx and Rx and start experimenting.

Re: LIPD Tx/Rx module - suggestions?
Hi All
Just a vote for Zigbee (802.15) from experience working with it over the last 3-4 years. We (work!) have integrated the technology into our electronics for multiple functions, simple to implement from a few up to +100 nodes. The self healing mesh networking is the main bonus, more reliable and faster than what we previously used (918 MHz SS Mesh). Range depending on antenna implementation but +100 metres easily in free space one hop. Again may be more than required for the job but modules are getting more cost effective day by the day
Cheers
