Dick Smith UHF preamp

Hi everyone,

I have a Dick Smith K-6309 UHF gaasfet preamp. Can anyone direct me towards the magazine article that described this project?

Lou - it featured in the 1986/87 catalogue p14 and cost $129. It was advertised 'New for '86' so will be described in EA magazine around that time.

Specs included: 10dB minimum gain (typically 13dB), <2db noise figure (typically 1.5dB), 420 - 480 MHz bandwidth, 100w RF switching capacity

Have you tried emailing Alan VK2CA as suggested at http://vkham.com/resources/kits-manuals ... nformation ?

Or try Silicon Chip to see if they do EA article reprints.
