RemoteRig with Kenwood TS2000

Hi All

I would like to converse with anyone who has successfully interfaced a Standard Kenwood TS-2000 (one without a detachable front panel) with the Microbit REMOTERIG RRC-1258 Mk11 interface?

My intention is to establish remote access for others to my 6m station for Chirp-Radar/propagation use.

The on-line manual for the interfaces is "not great" in many areas and leaves a number of "guessing holes" that I need to cover.

I have only bought ONE of the RRC-1258 interfaces as I understood that any internet-connected computer can control my station via Ham Radio Deluxe software.

I would appreciate advice on a number of practical issues

I use RemoteRig quite successfully with several Icom IC-706MkIIG's. However, this uses 2 RRC-1258 interfaces to connect head to body via the interwebs.
The way I read what you're doing, you'll need to add a RRC-Micro PC-Client to the equation. This will enable HRD to control the TS-2000 as below:

Has anyone had HRD interfacing with any remote station WITHOUT this electronic interface? ie driving the remote station from the computer screen only without an actual radio head in place.
