I have not built the N2PK VNA but you will find a good community at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/N2PK-VNA/

However I have built the DG8SAQ VNWA which is no longer available in kit form and is now only available built and tested. Based on observations on the 2 yahoos groups you should only undertake the construction if you have access to test equipment and previous experience in SMD kit construction. There have been a few cases of builders who lack access to an oscilloscope or signal generator to help troubleshoot during construction. This leaves me completely gob-smacked as a VNA is an specialised piece of equipment that you will "progress onto" after having the basic test equipment. For this reason the DG8SAQ kit was dropped in favour of the built and tested unit. It's a shame because there is a small percentage of the population with the ability to build the kits, and who enjoy it.

Ben,

What part(s) are you having difficulty sourcing??

You should find that DigiKey and/or Mouser stock the parts you require and they don't have a minimum order. Shipping is usually US$30 for international orders from Digikey via FedEx.
