I believe that the Murray Bridge repeater (146.875) is off the air again due to lightning strike.
Could someone please keep us advised of the status of the repeater and whats happening with it.
Someone may also like to comment on how high the antenna is, as I believe its on a very high tower, cant remember the exact height.

Re: VK5RMB Murray Bridge 2m status
It may have been off for a short period but it is certainly on now. Have heard people using it over the weekend and last night.

How far is its coverage
Re: VK5RMB Murray Bridge 2m status
VK5HP, the Murray Bridge repeater, to me is one of the best in South Australia. It reaches here under improved tropospheric conditions no problems (760 Km approx).
I've not had 2m FM antennas running for a year or so, so im not sure of its current status.
Also I believe the antenna is on something like a 200 ft tower (but someone else might confirm that). Its been struck by lightning a number of times.
