Hi Folks,
The VK3 2.4GHz QSO party will again take place on Easter Monday , April 1.
The idea is to get some more use out of those tranverters you have spent so much time perfecting, have some fun and maybe work some dx as well.
It might also be an opportunity to show the "Amateur Flag" in this part of the spectrum.
Propagation in the past has been very good at this time of year with some contacts over 400 km.
Hopefully the weather will be as good too!!
The operating frequency is 2403.150MHz with liaison on 144.150MHz. Bring any other bands you can.
The event commences at 8.30am local, but drop in when you can there will be stations to work.

Just wondering who else will be out and about tomorrow morning.
I will be on Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula, and will have 2m, 2.4GHz and 10GHz. Weather looks like it will be clear, so am looking forward to working a few others from 8.30am onward. Will probably stay till 10.30am or 11am, if there are stations to work.
As the focus is on 2.4GHz, it would be get some activity to reinforce our use of that part of the spectrum with the ACMA.
