FT1802 v's FT1900 ??

Post by VK2AXL »

Apart from the extra 5 watts, a round power button and slightly different knobs, whats the difference between a Yaesu FT1802 and a FT1900??

Virtually no difference. A liitle while ago Yaesu did some minor face changes to the VHF and UHF radios and gave them new model numbers.

Likewise the 7800 became a 7900 and so on.

Thats great thanks.
I was sure I read somewhere that there were a few differences. One made in Japan, the other China, or some menus different or something.
It wont make a difference to me buying one. I was just curious. :)
