Two U/Tube videos below: In appreciation to the groups or clubs that put 2 metres beacons on the air from VK for us ZL’s to listen out for.
The first is VK3RED and that was received early morning ZL time from Cape Reinga, January 4th 2012 this year. Propagation was tropo. That beacon diminished shortly afterwards and then the VK2RSY 2 metre came in and also vanished, or the prop weakened, or moved due to the rising sun over the Tasman?
Excuse the old 2 m radio. Has VK5EME preamp and can hear two wires rub in Tibet ..
