438.700 Repeater

Post by VK2GFR »

Trolling the net today I stumbled accross the Razorback (Sydney) repeater up for sale on "e-bay" Australian site.
FM815 Tx Rx going for a song... no duplexer noticed.
Surely there is a group out there who might take this on board & realise Lee TLN's vision or improve area coverage?

Unfortunately the linked mate of the razorback repeater has also gone off air :(

Thats the 438.550 repeater at Hurstville. Wonder how long before we loose the other 3
Central Sydney ... 439.800 and its linked mate at Horsely Park on 439.750
and finally the Carlingford one on 438.450.

I suspect either as they fail or their licences come up for renewal that will be the last that will be heard from them.

Sad that Lee's legacy probably isnt going to live on :(

cheers

They are OK, just email me if they stop working and I'll look into it.
