Could a VK6 station please report on the status of beacons VK6REP & VK6RST ???

Are they running and approx frequency ?

Hi Leigh & Derek,

VK6RST 2M is on air.

As Derek has noted frequency is a bit low, but will adjust next visit - last visit I ran out of time.

VK6RST 70cm is off air. Antenna is in my shed having been repaired, but still needs tuning & sealing against the elements. Will hopefully be back on air in the next month or 2.

Are you aware if it was on frequency ? Last time I heard it, it was a bit lower. 144.567.2 MHz in CW mode. Im not sure if it moves lower in the warmer months then higher again in winter?

Hi Leigh,
Have listened to VK6REP most of today,it appears to drift low as the day warms.
It drifted 500 hz low, down to 144.5765 on my trusty TR-9000 with Spectran.
Currently 144.5676 approximately

I was talking to VK6LD last night and he mentioned to me that he was going to be heading to the Mt Barker beacon site today to see if he could get things running again. Lets hope so.

VK6RST 2 meter beacon back on air, 144.564 is the frequency, slight drift.
