I have had a look here... http://www.heatcraft.com.au/ but they don't list specific items. Note that they are also in NZ, they are my local suppliers.
Give them a shout, they bound to stock them. Next time im in ill ask.

Re: Communication Concepts, Inc. anyone used lately?
I think they may be a small business that sometimes get a bit snowed under. I recently used the automated ordering system they have and the goods were dispatch quickly. My $24 of 10 ohm coax was going to cost $45 to send so instead I had it sent to a mate in Texas. It was over Xmas so the time it to...

Hi Nev. Im sure the ones over this way are on the cellular platform. Just had one fitted so i have yet to throw the spec ann at it. Being zero's and one's it may be hard to see, it also could be spread spectrum or freq hop. The small co-linear looks about 900 Mhz. Are you hoping to jam it ? :D :D Ma...

Re: Buying yaesu spares ? (ft817 PA board)
Hi. My guess is a new radio may be cheaper than a board. Why dont you just replace the failed devices ? The radio should have a high swr shutdown cct too.. these rigs are quite bullet proof in my experience. A little confused about how anyone would try to fit a 259 plug into a ntype socket too. ?? 7...

Uf ya gunna try und imitate us kiwis... its beached "az" bro..
Are we all calling on 150 or just not going below it. I thought 0.200 was the call freq ??
Little point in calling if we are all using different frequencies like last year.

Re: ZL National VHF FD This weekend
What about stations that don't submit a log. If they call on 110 are they at risk of causing havoc for the operators that will be submitting a log ? Better clear this one up before the contest.
Im not in it for the 59xxx.

I will be shunned for suggesting a ready made keyer but the no brainier option is at http://www.hamgadgets.com. Model is ID-O-matic II kit. Complete kit unassembled was $25 USD and $5 for post. As far as micros go I have missed the boat ( that and cw  ). I look forward to making a led blink wi...

Re: Cheap Power Supplies
This supply http://oh6ac.net/oh6ac-kerho/?page_id=281 is powering the 024 6m beacon. On key down its supplying about 16-18 amps at 46 volts. Cant comment on the HF noise because up on a hill in the middle of nowhere i dont care to much. :) The 24/7 pulsing for CW will be a good test. I like the shut...

Re: Battery help please
Hello Jack. To keep it simple and the cost low I would use an LM317 reg. Main criteria is not to over charge the battery and to limit the charging current so the reg doesnt burn up. If you need to maintain 200mA on Rx then id be thinking to charge the Batt at say 500mA. Iv always used the 10% rule f...

Philips LDMOS BLF578
Hi all. I have been looking about for a device for a high power amp. Originally I was focused on the MRFE6VP61K25HR5 freescale device but the thought of beening shafted on the price has put me off. Currently the BLF578 is 114 Euro plus 6.5 euro for shipping to NZ. It almost falls into the " too...

Re: VK-ZL 1296 MHz Experiments
Hi Adam.
When I ordered the new 70cm Xtal on 432.271 we also placed an order for 1296.271 but I declared I would not build a beacon.
If a 1296 beacon could be supplied I would not hesitate to install it at the Waipuna Ridge beacon site with a beam at VK.
Regards,
Mark

New Central NI UHF beacon.
Hi all. All that is required to complete the new Waipuna ridge UHF beacon is the xtal. Exciter and PA are on test at the mo from my home QTH. Thanks to Bob 1RS for the design the skeleton slot antenna, its built and tuned. 100 watts out with 0.5 reflected. This ant is the scaled from the 2m ant visa...

Re: MGF 0906b L Band Gas FET........
Sounds like you are doing everything write.. Im a little rough with the handling but ill grab the flange first and then the gate so I don’t spike it. With power on the pcb I get -3.26 on the gate with 9.8v on the drain which results in an idle current of under 500ma. If your still not sure bring the...

Re: MGF 0906b L Band Gas FET........
Hi.
Iv had a play with these... You cant bias them off like a normal fet. The cut off bias is -4v or something weird like that.
Have you had a good look at the part PDF ? I know that if you put ht on with 0 v on the gate they will draw current and go poof if you dont current limit the psu.
