I suggest you locate the relay and if possible open it , run some dry paper like butchers through the relay several times and see if it helps ?

you could use a 32'6"vertical but it is not as versatile however it does offer a good signal on 40 m , 15 with some tricks and perhaps another smaller vertical for 10 and 20m as well ? , or if you have some trees then a 43ft sloper perhaps

Have a read about the 43ft vertical . mine performs very well and cost not much

Interesting morning re win10 upgrade

I have here now a couple of brand name tablets which when upgrading from win8.1 fell over and wont go back so it looks like a fresh install is required

I upgraded the win8.1 machine and the tablet , the win7 hardware is over 3 yo so not upgraded , imho win10 seems better than 8 so how good is the hardware ?

no rush either , there are other o/s you might consider for old hardware
