pirtek also have the clamps in various hole sizes.There are many Pirtek branches throughout vk. If you use square boom just screw clamps directly to boom with galvanised steel roofing screws,the ones with their own drill for fixing to steel frames. VK2QO is building a hf yagi with a 6m delta loop on top.Sounds like a good idea to me.It shouldnt have as much interaction hopefully.

Hi Wayne,
I had the same prob on a couple of laptops.All the noise was coming from the 240v ps.I changed to a 12v universal ps available from Jaycar for about $40.
Just select plug and voltage to suit.It fixed my prob.

Hi Michael, What type of noise is it doing? I have just dismantled an alpha sid rotaator and they are a very simple worm drive and easy to dismantle.
