yes, i would love to see a 4m band in Australia. as someone who love low band VHF, i would most certainly give my support. i just hope on the hope that standards will have 4m too. there
are already off the self radios ready to go with 4m.

"Everybody is listening on 50.110 so no amount of calling by us on any other frequency is pointless"

Re: Permitted power use on digital modes
now this is interesting, i have been (and will continue) running 100 watts on "SSB" SSTV ever since standards could use sstv. it was always my understanding that it's 100 watts ssb regardless of mode and 30 watts max on AM/FM regardless of mode? why is it not that simple???? another point....

Re: SSTV from ISS
it's interesting all the pics a heavily slanted, including mine, i thought it was just me so i redid
my slant correction that just made everyone else off down on HF.
it was not like that back in December?
what do you all think?

where did he say he got this transmitter from? if just a miliwatt job well than ok, but you can get some much higher powered 0.5/ 1/5/10/25/50 watt cheap Chinese 88 to 108mhz transmitters from e bay without legal certification at all. it seems anyone can be a radio station now :) http://www.ebay.com...
