I'm just wondering what purpose the cat has in the project - is this to facilitate connection to an amateur transciever? Might build one of these and when my new FT950 arrives, hook the project up, connect the radio to a dummy load and see what it does. :) Laughed when I saw the bottle of magic smoke.

Pleased I got in with my request when I did - at least I will be able to start construction of an amp soon. Next up, ordering the PCB's

Hi folks! Wow what a project, and its moved to mkII as I have been following all 11 pages of the project. I've finally taken up some smd soldering and find it rather easy (I thought my eyesight wasnt that great, but using a magnifier lamp, its dead easy). Those amp boards look awesome - love the blu...
