I said previously the not many stations frequent the FreeDV QSO finder http://qso.freedv.org/ website. Well I managed to have two qso's this weekend via that site, so maybe worth a look after all.

For those interested, the FreeDV sked will be on again this Thursday night at 6pm on 7.1770 lsb. I will call cq after 6pm. Always interested to receive any reports.

Thanks Grant VK5GR for you comments. We do actually have some interest among vl logger members. Hopefully over time our thursday night sked will grow.

I think most of us are pretty worn out following the Feld Hell hour. Might I suggest that we pick another evening from 6pm to 7pm EST on 7.177 lsb for of FreeDV testing. By doing so, we may be a tad fresher and conditions perhaps more favourable.

to VK5ZT Sorry Tim, but I did not see you in either the spectrum or waterfall on freedv. I did find it very twitchy to tune in VK7BEN when we had our little chat. I am using Linux Ubuntu 16.04 here BTW. My antenna is just a Hustler Trap Vertical. Maybe I will throw up a dipole for 40m next week. che...

Another great Feld Hell tuesday. Good to see so much interest. Conditions from my QTH were very difficult last night. Still I did decode many stations. Quite a few qso's going on side by side. C U all again next tuesday.

Has anyone managed to get wifi and bluetooth running on the Pi 3? Have tried several distros in addition to raspian Jessie but alas with no luck so far.
