I have no 23cm gear and NO experience with 23 cm at all but I write to say I am pleased to see someone try !
Trust the 23cm crew can give u an idea how it might go and give some encouragement.

Yeah, and none of them is me, all I got was 1 second of morse for a v large lot of time in. Oh well .........

From VERY rpt very limited experience I have seeen pattern skewed off boresight when
using other types of matching but the skew was UP not left or right.
Guess this doesn't help but .....

Sorry I can't help u on that - no GPS sync.

Could someone might be able to advise if 2m beacon radiates constant power or if it is stepped.
Have noticed variations in strength here.

Agn tks. All I can see on mods.dk is the F221, much newer and I think current, had several looks there before posting here and just had another look. BUT I could be overlooking it. Tks for clue on IC-211 - looks v v much like it ! Am downloading now to have a look at later. QUICK look indicates same...

Am after manual, service manual and ideally schematic for an ICOM IC-221. Have spent yonks trawling web
but no good, only odd post other peaople looking for same but no replies.

Many tks ! vk2mdc, abt 2 km away been having a listen, his set up only so so but way way ahead of me but I the only local here on cent coast he cud raise
and although I am interested and been boning up only have the faintest idea. Want to help anyone that's keen.

local sez he can hear ? cxr 144.135 ex moon, I can't chk. Any mode used onthis freq and any one on eme at moment

Have a horizonatl 5 el yagi that hopefully this weekend might be able to get a bit higher up and get
feeder replaced with a bit of heliax.

Not a silly question at all - no, just joined this forum and still learning so it is something I will follow up on.
BTW, am at UMINA

Just getting back into AR after many years. Have been listening and calling on 144.1 and 144.15 but my set up is very low spec. Thought I might have heard something -- been trying on and off ? 8 or 10 months, possibly more. I can't tune as high as 144.2 to hear anyone in SYD on AE uplink so my quest...
