Hi Jayson
I picked it up at a hamfest so unfortunately I don't have any details on the unit. It's quite a large thing taking up a fair bit of room in the transverse box though.

Re: 13 cm calling frequency.
Im pretty sure this was the plot from the filter Hayden. I wonder if it could be dropped in Freq a little more? From memory I had trouble doing that but could be worth another try.

Good to work a couple on the ghz from qf12dc best contacts to vk3alb/vk3acg on 2.4ghz just over 200km! Shame I couldn’t get some of the Melbourne stations point out west. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190112/472751506c8716baa0cb594ef71ea79f.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190112/c0231632...

That's very cool, I paid 35 for mine. I have been playing with some arduino code I found on the internet but it would be nice to have a simpler version. The code is buy f6kbf. Since my code skills are still hello world it will be a struggle but I'd eventually like to end up getting rid of the screen...

Re: H.F Interference, how to contact the ACMA
Hi all Update The power company sent its workers out and has removed a piece of loose wire hanging from the power lines and this appears to have dropped my noise dramatically. (still a few crackles here and there but at least its usable things to look for are loos bits of wire hanging form the power...

Re: RFI from Honda 1KVA Geni
Hi i have noted many hams use an EMI filter mounted close to the generator usually mounted in a small box with a socket outlet mounted on it for the station use. If you have an old UPS they commonly have a suitable filter in them. something like this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AC-250V-20A-Noise-Supp...

No worries nick
I have a few more days to wait otherwise I'll be calling them back. Problem is now it's wet the interference will hide itself so hopefully they will contact me and we can sort it out.
Will let you know how I go.

Re: H.F Interference, how to contact the ACMA
Hi all I am currently in the process of trying to get my power line interference fixed. i spoke to the power provide who palmed me off to the acma after a detailed submission to the acma they sent a very generic report back to say to contact the power provider. I though i might be doing the big circ...
