Well short and sweet from me would have to be my current radio its a Kenwood TS-950SDX, thou in saying i cant complain to much about any of my radio's of past they include the TS-440S/AT, TS-450S/AT, Icom IC-706M2G.

Well from VK2MOR,VK2SJK and myself, would like to say thanks to all who gave us a number at VK2GGC.We too have suffered the same fault with VKCL3.4 in regards to invalid Foundation calls logged?? not sure how to edit the log so that it shows correct points???

Usually I call CQ in what is usually the busiest part of a band (.480 - .520 on 10m) to maximize the chance of a reply. ....I agree with u Wayne hence why im often around .490 seems to be the busiest or most popular and as an operator looking for any contact why would u not try these places first??...

its a 4.2 diesel so shouldnt be to bad for engine noise...

Howdy everyone, I have just moved into a place with a really small backyard,There is a single car garage on the left hand rear corner...The property measures approx;;30ft square roughly?? So what i would like r some ideas on a decent vertical HF antenna that i can install on the roof of the garage??...

Yeah well ok u busted me Leigh! I do try to make some noise on the band when i can from the mobile,But most of the time i get no response apart from the DX when its in.You would think that in a city like Newcastle there would be more activity(maybe all sandbagging who knows).....

I do listen to 28.490 all the time when in the car but i never hear anything??? i do sometimes put calls out but most of the time nothing!! I've gottin used to it now though lol...
