5w hand held with a maldol 1/4 wave whip.

Possible dry solder joint/s?
give the rf board a few taps or bump the radio with the palm of your hand.

There are two of them in the top section but both meassure different so one of them must be broken.

That's not a capacitor, its just a brass joiner to join the elements together.

I've packed up all my gear now.
Have 2/70 in the car but never use it.

Looking at buying a house soon so thinking about selling all the gear to help put funds towards it.
