I think Charles would have been related (son?) to the late Tom Sleeth who died some time back in the 1990s. Tom was a member of the EMDRC and as I recall had what was then the Limited Licence. 73 Peter VK3DU.

Roger VK2ZRH, FB re the homebrew receiver. Did you get any assistance from the late Harry Roach re the build? I think you were very active in the WIA SWL Group in those days.

I would be interested to know where you are picking up that subscription information. Looking at their web site http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com/ the rates seem to be USD$17 to add digital copies to an existing hard-copy subscription and USD$27 for a digital-only subscription.
