Gday all just an update , I have repaired the Yeasu G 1000DXA rotator controller board, the problem was a couple of cd 4011 smd nand gate ic's had been zapped :shock: ! quite an interesting repair as I tried to get the ic's off the board desoldered then still wouldnt come off as they had been glued ...

same here mine arrived a couple of weeks ago!hope yours turns up soon!

Interesting that the standard plug from jaycar doesnt fit as they fit all the other ft 817,857,897 yeasu radio's, I would give andrews comms a ring and see what they say.
