Re: VK3UM Silent Key
I was a shock yesterday to hear Doug's is SK. it was a real downer. I didn't believe it at first and frantically looks around on the net trying to confirm the news. It was Johns VK5DJ web site that confirmed it to me. I looked forward to talking to Doug each year at Gippstech at the dinner and I onl...

Heathkit GR-54 receiver
Hi.
Im restoring a Heathkit GR-54 receiver I purchased from the USA.
Does anyone have a original manual I can copy.
All the ones I find on the internet are bad copies and have lots of pages missing.
No body seem to have the construction details.
Regards Adrian.

Re: VK5RSB 53.750 6m Repeater in Adelaide OFF AIR

Antenna is a ringo 1/2 with ground radials. 40m run of LDF440. May have to consider CTCSS on the squelch circuit, or a way of switching...

A replacment antenna has been found. its a second hand ex military 5/8 antenna. Its fully grounded with ground plane radials "heavy duty" Im hope this week will be a good week to rig it. We had not feed back from any antenna manufacturers to date either. 73's Adrian VK5ZBR and Rod VK5UDX

Re: VK5RSB repeater

This box adds control to the link if wanted. We need TX RX audio, PTT neg logic and SQL positive logic. Audio is at 0dbM. Im ...
