Hope you have cut the DC lead to be the bare minimum length.... not left the origin 10ft of DC cable under the bench or coiled up still attached ??

Looking at the picture of the car and where the antennas are mounted that's the best insulated spot you can mount them . Modern paints are very good insulators hence no car earthing for the antennas, you say you put an ant analyser on it did you have a 50omh dummy load at the other end to see whethe...

Anyone in VK copying the signal on 7120 like WWV a Clock ticking on an open mike .
Started up on Sunday afternoon has QSB on it. Clock ticks for about 5min then loud hissing sound like a receiver speaker by the mic then clock starts up again

Oh dear you people do get yourselves woundup into a knot different states different regulation interpretations we use to have 61 different supply authorities 61 sets of regulations now the 20 or so left work to ASNZS3000 even thats confusing sometimes

A lazy mans approach was to connect the electric fence earth to the mains driven earth instead of driving a separate earth electrode this can cause all sorts of mayhem especially if its a MEN system
