If it involves frequency hopping, no.

The ACMA considers frequency hopping breaches a number of clauses in the LCD and so it isn't permitted in the amateur service.

Myself and a few colleagues use the Manson SPA-8330, if you don't need the metered types. Quiet fan, only comes on when needed and switches off fairly quickly. Chermside out of Melbourne made use of U bolts not U brackets

Chirnside also used hose clamps for tubing joints, and the trap caps look the same or similar too.
