Yes -I can relate to that- I am in Central Qld 500km nth of Brisbane, 400mtrs from the pacific ocean -heard the southern VK4 boys working ZL this morning -but not a whisper from ZL stns -very frustrating as this seems to be the norm , with the tropo propagation across the ditch ?? Got the new 2.4ghz gridpak Glen -just figuring out the new feed for 23cm - done heaps of on line research & got a few ideas in the pipeline, no one up here to talk to re modifications etc , so a steep learning curve for this old duck !!
