I have heard many horror stories especially with the chinese rubbish off Ebay etc. Chromed connectors, not even silver or gold plated and inferior low quality insulater material. You get what you pay for, although in the case above it appears it was from a higher tier supplier?

Hi Steve, Unfortunately most 6m yagis/verticals wont tune up to 52MHz unless they are low Q and a auto tuner only makes the radio happy. I just looked up the insertion losses of some of these Triplexors and Diplexors and the figures look much lower than I would expect. Beware using orange conduit as it is not UV resistant. It appears whoever mnanufactured these things originally wasnt aware or ignored that fact.
