Re: What has FT8 done for 6m ?
I also enclose some pictures of my portable field day station
Its a IC-202s and a HB 80w amp for 2m and a MMT144/50
Transverter for 6m and a HB 80w amp.. This gear is not too stable
but ok for ssb. FT8 makes most of my gear obsolete!

FT8 on 2m
Last summer FT8 was new on 6m and it had 50.313 MHz as a frequency of choice.
Question Is there now a frequency for 2m ???

ZL3MH coming to Queensland
Yep, I fly to Cairns on the 31-7-16 and slowly come down the coast to Brisbane.
I fly back to ZL3 on the 19-8-16. Is it worth bringing my VHF-UHF Hand held ?
Is there anyone on the repeaters ?

( made in OZ ) He worked for a government department that had just starting using video recordings of the activities etc. Is this the same transceiver ? Thanks...

In New Zealand we have something even better it is called the National
Link. It,s a UHF repeater linked system from Northland to Gore.
