Re: PACEMAKER EMR tolerance
The recent pacemaker comments I found very interesting. Five years ago I was “kitted up” with a pacemaker after I went very “QRT “ on a hospital stress test. My pace maker is a Medtronics device There are Medtronics warnings about not going near radio & tv transmission sites, arc welding, operat...

Re: Smart Meter freqs?
I have a good semi-rural QTH on a small hill & was contacted first by Optus in 2009 about sitting a mobile phone facility with a 20mtr concrete pole at my QTH. Nearly two years later I was contacted by SP AusNet about a smart meter 30mtr tower/system at my QTH In the Q & A with SP AusNet I w...

Re: Cross Yagi (144mhz)
I recently completed a 4x10 element Xpol yagi array (4x10 elements Hpol & 4x10 elements Vpol). There are 2 staggered yagis set 90deg's apart on 4 booms, the length of each boom is around 5mtrs. I've used John's (VK5DJ) DL6WU yagi programme for the element dimensions & spacing The programme g...

Re: 2m SSB /MM from Bass Strait - 22 Dec 2010
G'day Peter,
Thanks for making the effort. Sorry to hear that you were not able operate at the other sked times, it would have been very interesting to see how far south you could have been worked on 2mtr ssb.
I came up on the later sked times but nothing heard.
Thanks again,
