Re: 23cm from PF88jt
Hi All,
Sounds like I need to put the 23cm up. Like I said will be about 3mths before I get it up.
When it is in operation it will be 10 watts into a 35el yagi. Might have to look at getting an amp to give me a bit more oomph.
Will let you all know when operational.

Re: 23cm from PF88jt
I was think the same thing. My wife and I have just relocated to Broken Hill QF08rb and was wondering if putting up my 23cm antenna.
It will be about 3 months before I get to put it up. Will there be any interest from people to work Broken Hill on 23cm.

Thanks Scott,
Have just ordered one, should take about 2wks. When it gets in I might have to make contact so I know what way is what.

Re: High Isolation Relays for 23cm
Thinking of the High Gain Technology ones like http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/301014854971?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649. As I am using this relay with a LNA, would I need two of these? They have 4 connector slots so was just curious if I could get away with just one of these. ...

Re: Combined 6m and 10m beam.
Hi All, Have been thinking along the same lines lately. My current 6m beam is 5el on a 4M boom. I would like to add a 3/4el 10m beam on the same boom. I am quite happy to feed them separately. However to save on another coax run I was thinking of feeding it the same as you would a Hex Beam! Question...

Re: High Isolation Relays for 23cm
Even simpler is one of the numerous boost converters available on eBay. E.g. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/151196792092 for $2.72 At that price it's hardly worthwhile building your own unless you already have all the necessary components in your junk box. This is the type of thing I was thinking about...

Re: High Isolation Relays for 23cm
Hi All, Thanks for your thoughts and ideas. The Ace Technology or High Gain Telecom relays I think seem to be the go. Have noticed on both of these that they have 4 ports and run on 20 - 30 V. Is it necessary to have a connector in all 4 ports for them to work properly? and, As the LNA is designed t...

High Isolation Relays for 23cm
Admin edit: Topic split, to keep each thread "on topic"
Hi All
If anyone knows of a source of coaxial relays that will handle up to 100w with very good isolation at 23cm please let us know. I am having trouble getting answers from companies that do supply them.

Re: TS2000 LNA/other sequencing/buffers
I personally would like to thank Graham for his assistance in getting my LNA's & sequencer working. Graham built & tested the LNA's, however through the drawing above I was able to build the sequencer/buffers myself as well as wire correctly the accessory socket. Very pleasing as I have not ...

Have a look at this site for a variety for different baluns. I have been using a 9:1 unun for a number of years and have no complaints.

Hi All, Have owned the TS2000x now for about 3mths and have just started putting up beams to work on 2/70/23. Was thinking of getting some masthead preamps and was wondering if other owns think they are necessary. If so what type is best suited for use. Antenna types are 13el on 2m, 19el on 70cm and...
