The FT-50R will drain it’s battery rather quickly, even if the transceiver is turned “off”.
This mod will reduce the “off” current drain of the transceiver.
Note: Actual layout of PBA may vary depending on revision.

One thing that became apparent when using a single XDK PLL board in a dual-band 2.4/3.4 GHz transverter system, is that the PLL’s limitation on producing even MHz only, necessitates using different IFs.

NEVER use VOX operation when using RF Power Amplifiers.
It should be obvious why.
The transmitter, and the PA will switch on after audio modulation is detected.
